Arte Povera
This textile collection and the presentation of the Textile art installation is influenced by the Arte Povera (Italian Poverty Art) to highlight present moment, poetic thoughts, memories and nostalgia (past/present).
The textile show the lightness, simplicity and consumption of goods (cotton, natural inks). The art installation connects to the past, so adding some specific used objects symbolics deepen reflection.
Art shows us a way between rupture and continuity, the unconscious and immateriality in a given space.
This immersive experience invites us to meditate on the impermanence of life in these suspended moments that transcend reality, allowing the invisible to exist.
This artwork explores the different garments or costumes we wear, which present so many facets of our personality: soft, joyful, poetic, light, rigid, serious, etc. Part of this series is a critique of current textile production (deconstruction of the self-image, disposable fashion, etc.). Another part of the series explores the transformation of the artist (artist's apron).
